Here’s Adam Sandler yesterday on the red carpet for the New York premiere of his new comedy You Don’t Mess with the Zohan at the Ziegfeld Theater.

He has a new movie in the works with director Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann, it’s still untitled and the plot is being kept under wraps only described as a dramedy about two stand-up comics (Sandler and Rogen).

Mann (Apatow’s wife) previously starred with Rogen in Apatow’s 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, while Sandler and Apatow worked together with Robert Smigel writing Don’t Mess With the Zohan.

Production on the new/untitled comedy is set to start later this year.

Adam Sandler is classic in his own way, though he tends to do his best work when he stays casual, not trying too hard to be funny or deep, etc.
