Adam Lambert Defends His Album Cover

Adam Lambert For Your Entertainment Album Cover

With his wild and crazy style during this past season of American Idol, it shouldn’t be any surprise that Adam Lambert’s album cover ‘For Your Entertainment’ was going to be a bit different.

Lambert recently told the press that his much-anticipated debut album would sound “as if a ’70s time-capsule blasted off into space and you’re watching it through a holographic filter” and the cover looks just that.

He took to his Twitter page to say:

“Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy.  It’s an omage [sic] to the past. It IS ridiculous.

“For those that don’t get it: oh well…Glad to have gotten your attention.  Androgyny. Rock n Roll.”

It really does look like it’s straight out of a Xanadu.

I don’t give a shit what anyone says, the guy is an artist,he knows what he’s doing, if anyone out there thinks they’re smarter than the artist who’s been working on their own album than they can go to hell.
