7 Killed In Police Chase In California
August 9, 2009

A police chase in Dinuba, southeast of Fresno, California ends with 7 people killed, 4 of them being innocent young children.
The California Highway Patrol says police in Dinuba were trying to stop a car Saturday afternoon for a traffic infraction when the car led them on a high speed chase through the South Valley. The car then ran a red light which and crashed into a truck that was carrying two adults and five children. The accident happened at the intersection of Avenue 424 and Road 120, near Orosi. Four of the five children were ejected and died at the scene. The other child and the adults were taken to a hospital.
All three people in the car being chased were killed.
Such a horrible tragedy and for something so sensless. Our hearts go out to the families of those poor innocent children that were killed.

Terrible accident. I disagree with the folks that want to ban the pursuits
The bad guys will know they can get away by running and this could lead
to more accidents. Ask yourself a questions, I someone had hurt or killed
a family member, would you want the police to chase them or let them go
and hope for the best?

I pray the Lord sets His angels about the parents of the young children who were killed. I am thankful that Jesus is holding them all in His most gracious arms. I pray the parents come to know the Lord as their Savior. And I thank the Lord for His mercy and grace and salvation.

I wish people would listen to or read the topic before responding.
Nobody wants them to stop chacing harden criminals, just people who
break traffic laws ok Robin, people shouldn’t be put at risk because
of some police officers ego.
