5 Celebrities Who’ve Converted to Islam

Religion has its own importance in our life and the way we live and practice it becomes a way of our lifestyle. However there are times when we think our though process is different to what we practice and hence we get attracted or influenced by a religion and then we adopt or convert it.

 Here is a list of celebrities who have converted to Islam at some point in their life. Janet Jackson was raised as a Jehovah however she converted to Islam in 2013 after marrying Wissam Al Mana. Comedian Dave Chappelle converted to Islam in 1998. Amal Clooney wife of George Clooney has a Druze father and a Sunni Muslim mom and Amal is said to be a Muslim herself. Mike Tyson the world famous boxer converted to Islam in the 90’s while in prison. British model Jemima Khan left Judaism and converted to Islam after marrying Pakistani cricket player Imran Khan.  Then the list goes on with names like DJ Casey Kasem, Rapper Ice Cube, Snoop Dog, Jermaine Jackson, CNN host Fareed Zakaria, Akon, Muhammad Ali (Previously known as Cassius Clay) and many more.
