3 Teens Charged In Chicago Fenger High School Beating

Three teenagers, Silvonus Shannon, 19, Eugene Riley, 18, and Eric Carson, 16, have all been arrested and charged as adults with first-degree murder in the beating death that took place last Thursday of 16-year-old Derrion Albert as he walked home from Chicago’s Fenger High School.
He was beaten to death during a melee between two gangs that broke out on the street.
Police have a nearly three minute video that was shot by a teen girl, who is a student at Fenger High School. She reportedly showed the tape to Albert’s family before handing it over to police and a local Fox station. She has asked that her name be kept private because she fears retaliation.
